Metal Injection’s Top 10 Debut Albums in Metal Kicks Off with The Black Dahlia Murder’s Unhallowed

As we reported last week, The Metal Injection Countdown has returned! Having already tackled  the ten most influential metal albums of all time and the ten most controversial moments in metal, this time around they’re counting down the Top 10 Debut Albums in Metal. This is obviously a topic about which everyone has their own deeply-seeded opinions; consequently, it’s a great conversation starter (or, this being the web, a great excuse for wishing cancer on people who dare to disagree with you).

Coming in at #10 is The Black Dahlia Murder’s Unhallowed! I can already feel some of you out there seething.

So try this: take a few deep breaths, compose yourself, and then watch Metal Injection’s video below so you can understand their justification for the choice. In addition to interviews with members of The Black Dahlia Murder and Metal Blade founder/head honcho Brian Slagel, it also features commentary from members of White Widows Pact, Meek is Murder, Earache Records’ Al Dawson, and some dude named Vince Neilstein. Once you’ve watched it, go to the comments section and rip one another a new one. It’ll be fun.
