Trap Them’s Ryan McKenney is the Latest Musician to Perform with Broken Feet

Add this one of the annals of foot injuries in metal: like Axl Rose, Dave Grohl, and Sid Wilson before him, Trap Them frontman Ryan McKenney has apparently broken his feet in a performance-related accident. In McKenney’s case, his injury was sustained while jumping off a speaker during the band’s performance at Bloodshedfest in the Netherlands this past Saturday, October 15. Video from the performance seems to show McKenney struggling to remain upright after he hurt himself… but still continuing on with the performance. Dude is a trooper.

As if that didn’t make McKenney enough of a champion, he is, like the aforementioned musicians, not letting the injury slow him down too much: he’s now performing from a wheelchair on the band’s currently-in-progress European tour.
