Rammstein Announce Summer 2017 Show!!

Several years ago, the organizers of Rammstein’s first North American tour in a very long time invited Axl and I to see the band at an arena in New Jersey. Not being huge fans of the band but thinking it’d be pretty cool to see the guys who wrote “Du Hast” play that song live — plus our general affinity for free stuff — we accepted.

I am not exaggerating one bit when I say it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Forget what you know about stage production and throw it all out the window. Forget what you know about pyrotechnics and throw THAT out the window. Forget entirely everything you know about bands performing live and just burn it the fuck up. Seeing Rammstein live is an experience wholly unto itself, an unforgettable, theatrical performance that’ll have you riveted from start to finish even if you’ve never heard a note of the band’s music! FIRE! Dancers! Sex! Acrobats! Lights! Videos! MORE FIRE! MORE FIIIIIIIRRRRRRE! Absolutely incredible.

All that’s a round about way of saying we’re definitely going to see Rammstein when they play at Jones Beach on June 25th, the band’s only East Coast performance in 2017. Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 17th at 10am via Ticketmaster. Do NOT miss it!

The band is expected to announce a few more North American shows soon, but won’t be doing a full tour.
