Iron Maiden Vow to Complete U.K. Tour Despite Manchester Attacks

  • Axl Rosenberg

Iron Maiden have three shows left on the U.K. leg of their current world tour, all scheduled to take place later this week: Wednesday, May 24 at Motorpoint arena in Cardiff, Wales, and May 27 and 28 at O2 Arena in London. In light of last night’s terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, however, one would not be surprised if these gigs were postponed or cancelled.

Luckily for Maiden fans attending those shows, however, this is not the case:

I’m sure there are fans who will be hesitant to attend these shows as a result of last night’s vicious attack. I sincerely hope those fans fight past their concerns and go to the shows. I’m not being flip when I say this: if you let last night’s tragedy scare you out of continuing to live your life, the terrorists win. Right now, going to see Maiden and having a great time is one of the best ways you can send a message to these assholes that they’re not gonna take us all down with them.
