Exclusive Track Premiere: “Chaos Never Fails to Appeal” by The Erkonauts

The Erkonauts’ debut album, I Did a Bad Thing, was one of my favorite releases of 2016. Like a heavier, less-overtly-goofy System of a Down album, I Did a Bad Thing heralded the Swiss quartet as top-notch songwriters able to seamlessly blend a variety of styles into something new, fun, and, above all, catchy as hell.

So it is with great pleasure that I report: The Erkonauts are back already! We already knew that the band was hard at work on their sophomore effort, working once again with producer Thomas “Drop” Betrisey (Samael)… now we know that effort will be called I Shall Forgive, and will drop November 10 on their new label, Indie Recordings!

And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, we also have a new song for you to check out! “Chaos Never Fails to Appeal” is a buoyant, punky jam full of swing, the kind of song that simply will not allow you to listen to it while sitting down; like a magnet, it will compel you onto your feet and into the pit. Be wary of listening to it at the office.

Do yourself a favor and check out “Chaos Never Fails to Appeal” below! The pre-order I Shall Forgive from iTunes or Pledge Music (personally, I recommend the latter option, because it offers all kinds of goodies the iTunes pre-order does not). Trust me: you’ll be glad you did!!!
