Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell Debuts Track for DC Comics’ Dark Nights: Metal
Following in the footsteps of members of Deftones, Mastodon, and In This Moment, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell is the latest musician to contribute to the soundtrack for DC Comics’ Metal event. I don’t know why all these people are being recruited as solo artists and not part of their bands — maybe it’s just cheaper? — but whatever. As is always the case with Jerry Cantrell solo stuff, his song, “Setting Sun,” sounds exactly like Alice in Chains anyway. So. Yeah.
