MetalSucks super-tipster Ranpal C. has sent in the link to a Spotify stream of “Infinite Resurrection,” a new single from cavernous death metallers Tomb Mold.

The band’s label, 20 Buck Spin — which has been KILLING IT lately, btw — announced via Instagram that a new Tomb Mold record entitled Planetary Clairvoyance will drop on July 19th, with pre-orders beginning in June (why not now? missed opportunity!). Sean Pearson recorded the effort and it was mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk, who seems to have his hand in just about everything lately.

The track comes less than a year after the release of their 2018 breakthrough album Manor of Infinite Forms and continues right where that record left off, with heavy nods to old school death metal mixed with a doomy aesthetic and fiery bouts of thrash riffing. This track seems a touch more technical than the band’s past material, but ultimately I’ll leave that assessment to those intimately familiar with their older work. In any case: the song rips and makes me excited to hear what the rest of the album has in store. Stream below, then let us know what you think in the comments.
