Missing Tallah Frontman Found
Tallah, the nu-metalcore band featuring Mike Portnoy’s son, Max, on drums, have located their missing frontman, Justin Bonitz.
Following an altercation with venue security, Bonitz was arrested this past Thursday, July 18, in the middle of their set at the Lizard Lounge in Lancaster, PA. According to a press release, although “The rest of the band members… were told that Bonitz would be taken to see the judge [Friday] morning… when the band phoned back [that] morning they were informed that [Bonitz] had been released at 2:30am with no cell phone, no shirt and no money.” They were subsequently unable to locate the vocalist.
Fortunately, according to a statement from the band, they have since been reunited with their missing singer:
“We have Justin back.
“After the police station told us he was released at 4 a.m. we spent the majority of the day searching the city for him. Apparently, he was transferred to a prison nearby and the police station did not keep track of it and were instead told he was released. We made our way over to the prison and bailed him out. He still needs to go to court but at least we have him back now. We will see you on the road this week with Guerrilla Warfare.”
We’re relieved to hear that Bonitz is okay. Hopefully the rest of the band’s tour is relatively uneventful.
