There’s gonna be a new Hatebreed album next year, but if you can’t wait that long for your next dose of hardcore uplift, this may help you keep your chin up for the time being: Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta’s Jasta Featuring Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed will release a new album called The Lost Chapters, Volume 2 on December 13. And now two songs from that effort have been made available for your listening pleasure.

One, “Strength to Draw the Line,” features Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach, and the other, “When the Contagion Is You,” features Trivium’s Matt Heafy. They both sound kinda like Hatebreed, but with an extra dose of melody, which certainly makes sense. They’re also both STUPID catchy. The biggest difference between the two is that “Contagion” is sorta depressing. It’s basically about how sometimes you smell shit and you’re like “Oh man did some idiot step in dog shit?” and then you realize you’re the idiot who stepped in dog shit and is now making everyone else suffer. Metaphorically speaking, I mean.

ANYWAY, you can check out both tracks below. Pre-order The Lost Chapters, Volume 2 here. Other guests on the album include George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Max Cavalera (Soulfly), Howard Jones (Light the Torch), Tommy Victor (Prong), Billy Graziadei (Biohazard), Phil Rind (Sacred Reich), Zoli Teglas (Ignite), and Frankie Palmeri (Emmure), who I assume is on the record because he won a charity auction or something.
