Benighted Vocalist Julien Truchan Diagnosed With COVID-19

Benighted vocalist Julien Truchan is the latest prominent metal musician to test positive for COVID-19. Truchan had reportedly been doing volunteer work with patients afflicted with the virus. It’s not clear how badly Truchan has been hit, but the band’s announcement makes it sound like they’re optimistic about him bouncing back:

“[T]his morning we got the sad news that our vocalist Julien Truchan has been tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Unfortunately he contracted the virus during his volunteer work in a Covid medical department. We wish him strength and good recovery!”

Here’s hoping Truchan is okay.
