Revocation Issue Statement Re: Parting Ways With Guitarist Dan Gargiulo

Revocation have issued a statement regarding the departure of their longtime guitarist, Dan Gargiulo.

Gargiulo announced this week that he was leaving the band after ten years.

In the statement, Revocation say they are currently writing their next album, and will not replace Gargiulo until they begin the tour cycle for that release.

You can read entire Revocation’s statement.

“What’s up everyone, we’ve got some important news to share with you all.

“Dan has announced today that he is leaving Revocation. Over the past decade we’ve toured the world together and have released 5 full length records and an EP since he joined, needless to say we’ve had an excellent run. There is no bad blood between Dan or any of the members of the band, it was simply time for him to change paths and focus on other musical and life endeavors. We wish him nothing but the best in the future and we’re excited to hear his next musical offerings. We’ll miss ya DG!

“Writing is currently well underway for our next full length, we plan to continue on as a 3 piece for now but we’ll be bringing in a 2nd guitar player down the line once we start the tour cycle for our next full length.”
