Static-X Guitarist Koichi Fukuda is a Conspiracy Theorist Right Wing Nut Job

0

Static-X guitarist Koichi Fukuda has been active on social media in recent days, showing his support for Donald Trump and the storming of the Capitol while sharing conspiracy theories often peddled by the far right.

The posts shared on Fukuda’s Facebook page (set to public at present) — he has also recently joined Parler — promote widely debunked extreme right talking points, including that Wednesday’s invasion of the Capitol was orchestrated by antifa, that Democrats run a secret ring of child rape and murder, that the presidential election was rigged in favor of Joe Biden and is being stolen from Trump, that the mainstream media is run by a small group of global elitists hiding the truth, and much more.

Fukuda, who emigrated from Japanese to the United States as a child, was in Static-X initially from 1994 to 2000, again from 2005 to 2010, and has been in the reunited effort (sans Wayne Static) since 2018.

Between this guy, Mr. Trapt, John Dolmayan, Jon Schaffer and Symphony X’s Mike LePond, we’ve got enough to form a formidable all-Trump metal band. Think of the headlines!
