Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle and More Scheduled for Riot Fest 2021
Following the announcement of their performance at the Louder Than Life festival set for Louisville in late September, Nine Inch Nails have revealed they’ll headline another festival this year: Riot Fest, set for September 17, 18 and 19 in Chicago. NIN previously headlined in 2017.
Other metal or heavy rock acts set to appear on the festival’s multi-genre lineup include Faith No More, Smashing Pumpkins, Mr. Bungle, Coheed & Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, The Ghost Inside, NOFX, Thrice, Circa Survive, Living Colour, Thursday and Andrew W.K.
Devo, Dinosaur Jr., Run the Jewels, Pixies and Lupe Fiasco are a few of the other acts scheduled to perform.
A press release promises that “Safety measures regarding COVID-19 — a top priority this year — will be frequently updated, as directed by local health and public safety officials.”
At the same time, Riot Fest announced that My Chemical Romance will headline the 2022 incarnation.
Nine Inch Nails have two headline shows of their own scheduled in Cleveland between the two festivals.
