Limp Bizkit Debut New Song “Dad Vibes,” Fred Durst Debuts New Haircut “Marginally Less Douchie”
Limp Bizkit played at Lollapalooza over the weekend, and as part of their set, they played a new song called “Dad Vibes.” And when I say “they played a new song,” I mean “they played a studio recording of that song over the PA,” not “they performed the song live.” I guess they didn’t wanna get their instruments dirty.
You can listen to a fan’s recording of the studio recording of the song Limp Bizkit played but didn’t perform below. It may or may not contain an offensive epithet against homosexuals that rhymes with the word “rag” — I can’t hear it clearly enough to be sure. I wouldn’t put it past Fred Durst to still be using that word in 2021, though.
The song will appear on Limp Bizkit’s new album, which guitarist Wes Borland recently revealed hasn’t come out because Durst is a perfectionist. I can almost type that without bursting into hysterical laughter. Almost.
On the subject of Mr. Durst — he premiered something else at the band’s Lollapalooza show: his new Beastie Boys “Sabotage” cosplay costume. You can check that out via the performance video below the “Dad Vibes” video below the tour dates.
