The normally upbeat Swallow the Sun have released an uncharacteristically downtrodden new single, “Woven Into Sorrow.”

Frontman Mikko Kotamäki calls the song “the gloomiest track” on the band’s forthcoming album, Moonflowers. So hopefully the rest of the record is the kind of cheery “Here Comes the Sun” / “I Got You (I Feel Good)” / “Walking on Sunshine” -esque stuff we’ve come to expect from this band.

Check out the track via the below music video, which was created by Dronicon Films.

Moonflowers is out November 19. “Some of the album formats” will come with a bonus record featuring instrumental string versions of every song on Moonflowers as recorded at Finland’s Sipoo Church with a group called Trio NOX
