Great news for the billions of fans of the only three bands that actually matter: Slipknot singer Corey Taylor says the band could release music very, very, very soon. Specifically… “in the next month or so.”

Speaking about the ‘Knot’s new album, Taylor tells Eddie Trunk (via The PRP):

“Actually, it’s pretty much done. I’d say it’s probably about eighty percent done. We’re finishing up some music, [and] I’ve got a couple more songs to sing. However, I will say this – don’t be surprised if in the next month or so you hear something new.”

Taylor went on to describe the single as “more of a ‘let’s bludgeon everybody and remind them why we’re still Slipknot’ kind of vibe.”

You will of course know more the millisecond we do.

Taylor recently unveiled his new mask for this upcoming album cycle. The band are now on a massive North American tour with Killswitch Engage, Fever 333 and Code Orange.
