You’ll Never Believe the Shocking Real Reason for Slash’s New Album Title

On February 11, 2022, the newly-created Gibson Records will release 4, the fourth album from Guns N’ Roses’ Slash’s Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators with Slash (Guns N’ Roses).

But why is the album called 4?????????

There are five members of the band… Slash was born on July 23, 1965… Slash has five letters in his name… he’s been married twice… he has two sons… there are six strings on a guitar… NOPE! There is simply no easy explanation for the title.

Under normal circumstances, this could remain a mystery for the ages.

Fortunately, Rock Antenne had the balls to step up and just ask Slash directly for an explanation.

Unfortunately, the guitarist’s explanation was opaque, to say the least:

“I just called it ‘4’ because it’s our fourth record.”

Oh, Slash. You tricky devil, you. Fine! Don’t tell us why it’s called 4. It’s more fun to just come up with our own interpretation, anyway.
