Babymetal Dropped “Mirror Mirror” Video Ahead of Tomorrow’s Album Release
Tomorrow is a huge day for cutesy metal band Babymetal and the fans they’ve amassed around the world. After years away from the scene, the band will release their new concept album The Other One. In anticipation of tomorrow’s release, the band uploaded a lyric video for their latest single, “Mirror Mirror.”
Obviously though, the lyrics are all written out in Japanese, so hopefully you’ve brushed up on your hiragana, katakana, rōmaji, or kanji — I honestly don’t know which is which, so I might as well cover all the bases here.
According to the band, The Other One focuses on the band’s supposed journey through a realm they call the Metalverse. Each song on the album represents one of the parallel worlds they have discovered through their journeys there.
The Other One will be out tomorrow, March 24. In addition to the new single and album release, the band is gearing up to hit the road with Sabaton on the “Tour to End All Tours”….tour this April. You can find those dates down below.
