Check Out Metallica’s Shadowy Video for “Sleepwalk My Life Away”
Well, today’s the big day and Metallica‘s 12th studio effort 72 Seasons is out in the wild. A lot of you like it, a lot of you don’t — and that’s okay. I personally felt it was a pretty good record, but you can read our full review whenever you want. That’s not the purpose of this post.
Less than an hour ago, Metallica released the music video for the album’s latest single, “Sleepwalk My Life Away.” As the band’s been wont to do since their Load and ReLoad days (weird how those two keep coming up with this record…), this video purposely shrouds the band in darkness and silhouettes in an attempt to make the video look moody. Well, as dark, brooding, and moody as a buncha ultra rich 50-60 something white dudes can look dark, brooding and moody…
