Elegant Weapons Brings the High Octane, Old School Heavy Metal with “Do Or Die”

0

The heavy metal supergroup Elegant Weapons released their second track and accompanying music video for the song “Do Or Die” earlier today, giving fans of old school heavy metal something new to band their heads to.

Comprised of Rainbow singer Ronnie Romero, Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner, Uriah Heep bassist Dave Rimmer, and Accept drummer Christopher Williams, Elegant Weapons is gearing up to the release of their debut album Horns for a Halo.

Released last month, the band’s first track “Blind Leading The Blind” showed some promise for what’s to come, but “Do Or Die” really turns it up, bringing exactly the heavy metal sound one should expect from performers of their caliber. Faulkner said the new track is a call to action to pull out all the stops and attack everything head on in life.

“‘Do or Die’ is a rip roaring track about taking the opportunity and giving it your all. Take the shot, play the game and do it to the best of your ability. It’s the fastest track on the record and is a blast to play!”

You can check out the new track below. Horns For A Halo will be released on May 26 via Nuclear Blast Records, though you can preorder your copy today.

In addition to their upcoming album release, the band is also gearing up for a 13-day tour throughout Europe, hitting many of the big festivals along the way. For more information on the dates and locations of those shows, be sure to check out the full list below the video.
