Mötley Crüe to Ruin Perfectly Good Def Leppard Shows in Australia Later This Year
Just when you thought it might be safe to enjoy some 80s hits from British arena rock from Def Leppard, three aging rockstars and John 5 turn up to potentially soil the whole affair. At least that’s what it seems will happen when Mötley Crüe take the stage for a trio of shows Down Under.
This new set of shows makes financial sense, given the fact that these two bands have been on tour together off and on for the last year or so, resulting in huge ticket sales and very likely a dumptruck full of cash. Def Leppard frontman and Tobias Forge soundalike Joe Elliot said he was excited to bring the Leppard/Crüe tour to Australia.
“After getting back on the road this past summer, we’re beyond thrilled to bring this massive tour to a global audience including some special dates in Australia!”
Likewise, Mötley Crüe took to their social media accounts to announce the trio of dates, as well as express their excitement for the massive payou — I mean, crowds.
As of now, the three Australian dates are as follows:
11/08 Brisbane, AUS – Suncorp Stadium
11/11 Sydney, AUS – Giants Stadium
11/14 Melbourne, AUS – Marvel Stadium
