Overkill Will Be “Scorching The Earth” As They Tour with Fellow Thrashers Exhorder and Heathen This July
Thrash metal titans and one of the best New Jersey exports, Overkill, announced earlier today that they’re going on tour with Exhorder and Heathen next month for a 16-date run. Kicking off in San Francisco on July 13, the tour will span multiple states until it comes to an end in Huntington, New York on July 30.
This run comes as Overkill continue to celebrate their 40th anniversary as one of the most ardent stalwarts of thrash. Looking toward the mayhem to come, Overkill frontman Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth said he was excited to share the road with the two other bands as they tear shit up along the way.
“Hey “killers,’ the time has come to hit the road in the US of A! July the 13th starts the salvo in San Fran and we will be rolling down the west coast to L.A., across Rt10 east to Florida then up the east coast and back home. Been a long time kids! Keep your eyes open, and get Scorched! Cya on the R.O.A.D.!”
Similarly, Exhorder’s Kyle Thomas called the upcoming tour “nothing short of a family affair,” having spent time on the road with Overkill in the past.
“Rolling with Overkill is always nothing short of a family affair, but add Heathen and us to the mix too and it’s like a family vacation! We can’t wait to tear up the States with our family!”
