What the Hell Is Going On with Slipknot?
Things have been getting weird with a quickness in the Slipknot camp. Yesterday afternoon, Slipknot posted that keyboard Craig Jones and the band had parted ways. Then, they deleted the post shortly after. If that wasn’t weird enough, they kicked off their European tour yesterday and appeared to have a mystery member with them, then followed that up with a photo of an anonymous, hooded member. No caption on the photo, of course.
That’s not all. They posted a vague video to their Instagram this morning that sent viewers to youcantkillme.com, which includes a video entitled “Death March.” Very snuff film-like in nature, “Death March” seems to be a trailer or teaser for something. Slipknot have traditionally liked their theatrics, so who knows what we’ll see before their show tonight in Czechia.
“Hello to all of our fans, it’s the clown. I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that I’m back home supporting my wife through some health issues, and I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can.
“We’ve been through this before and as always, we appreciate the love and support. See all of you very soon.”
