Spiritbox Launch a Website Teasing New Music

0

If there’s one thing about Spiritbox, it’s that they came out of the box running. From their 2021 debut record Eternal Blue and last year’s EP Rotoscope, they’ve kind of set up a precedent of putting out music at a regular clip. So naturally, they’ve been hinting at some new tunes for this calendar year as well.

And while the most concrete information about new music coming this year came from a previous interview with vocalist Courtney LaPlante, the band launched a new website at thefearoffear.com that directly links fans to pre-save a song with links for Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.

Once you pre-save the song, the site opens up and you gain access to some “mirrors” where you can hit play and hear some snippets of what I can only assume is the new song. It’s got some droning bits and it seems to build as you move from mirror to mirror, so that’s cool.

Each mirror is time locked, apparently, since the fourth mirror can only be broken tomorrow and there are five mirrors in a line, that means we could potentially get the new song on Friday. That’s only my guess though.

In addition to the new music, Spiritbox will be heading out on tour with Papa Roach and Shinedown next month. You can find the full list of dates below.
