Sadus Announce First Record in 16 Years

0

Classic thrashers Sadus are back this fall with their first record in 16 years, The Shadow Inside, which will be released November 17 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The East Bay-based band originally got back together in 2017 and have been working on their new record over the past several years—presumably with some delays thanks to COVID. They recorded the album with Juan Urteaga of Trident Studios. The artwork was done by Travis Smith, and the record focuses on the groovy thrash and catchy solos the band are known for.

You can preorder The Shadow Inside here.

Vocalist/guitarist Darren Travis says about the new record:

“I am giddy with excitement for this album to be unleashed upon the world. With the help of the entire Nuclear Blast team, we will bestow a hugely anticipated release of The Shadow Inside!!

“THANK YOU for your interest in our little band for all these years. I hope you will find the same release of excitement that WE DO!! The love of METAL is the only reason for SADUS!! Thank you ALL for the undying SUPPORT!!!! Fucking SADUS!!

The band shared the record’s first track, “It’s The Sickness,” late last year before sharing official details of the album. Now, they have also dropped another track from The Shadow Inside, “Ride The Knife.” Check it out:
