The collectibles marketplace Quidd just announced their series of “Helloween” images. Not to be confused with the band that goes by that name, the series features rare and never-before-seen photos of KISS, Black Sabbath, and Ozzy Osbourne.

The photos will be released October 30 and come from the recently unearthed vaults of Retna Pictures and London Features International. There are an estimated eight million slides of images being acquired, a veritable gold mine for music history nerds and rabid fans alike.

The images are available through the Quidd marketplace and POP Culture, Inc. as collectibles on 3D slides, which each slide scanned and hand-crafted into a 3D file. Archivists have also added hand-written notes about the photos.

Based on the previews shared so far, the images range from candid and behind the scenes to photo shoots and outtakes. If you love wacky 70s metal fashion and deep cuts, you’ll love these.

According to the press release, “The ‘Starchives’ concept, which transforms vintage photography slides into 3D digital collectibles, along with the astounding success of the ‘Summer at the Cinema movie poster series, showcases the commitment to reimagining the digital space. POP Culture, Inc.’s mission is to change the culture of digital collectibles by bringing brands that are engaging, fun, and entertaining to the forefront.”

POP Culture, Inc. CEO Hayden Michael credited the company’s curator for being able to find the unique photos.

“We are excited about these magical collections, showcasing many photos that have never before been seen. Our curator, Chris Vranian, has spent countless hours searching in old filing cabinets, most of which had not seen the light of day in half a century.”
