This Cannibal Corpse Coloring Book Apparently Goes Too Hard for Germany

I don’t know about you, but I apparently missed the memo that said adults can do coloring books and not look as emotionally stunted as those weird-ass Disney adults. But hey, it’s 2023 — who am I to judge? Apparently it’s got some mental health benefits, but I’ll question the validity of that claim when the coloring book that people could be spending their time with is as disgustingly brutal as this newly unveiled Cannibal Corpse coloring book.

Touted as the band’s first-ever official coloring book, this absolutely wild offering from U.K. independent publisher Rock N’ Roll Colouring features some of the most iconic Cannibal Corpse album cover art by artist Vince Locke. The whole package is endorsed by both Locke and the band and comes printed on high quality square format paper.

This new release follows in the footsteps of some of metals’ biggest acts and their coloring book releases, including Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden. As you can see in the images below, some of the pieces of Cannibal Corpse artwork you can expect to find in the coloring book include Tomb Of The Mutilated, Eaten Back To Life, and even the band’s most recent release, Chaos Horrific.

Leading up to the production and release of the coloring book, Locke said he was tasked with selecting the pieces that would be included in its pages. And what he eventually realized was that he was excited to find out how fans would interpret his work.

“Going over art for the book, it was surprising to see just how much 30 years of collaboration yielded. It’s rare that I see it all compiled together. There are a few pieces that had to be included, some that were favorites of myself or the band, and some that just lent themselves well to coloring.

“I’m always playing, trying different materials and techniques. Hope you do the same with these coloring pages. Try watercolor markers, crayons, and colored pencils, adding your own details. You’ll probably go through a lot of red, but be creative, have fun, make it your own.”

The Official Cannibal Corpse Colouring Book will be available on December 1 and is available for preorder via Eyesore Merch. If you’re interested, the book can be shipped worldwide — well, except to Germany, where it’s likely not available due to the graphic nature of the images within the book.
