AEW’s House of Black Gets Limited Edition Vinyl Featuring Deadbody, Twitching Tongues, and God’s Hate
If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a million times — professional wrestling and metal go together like chokeslams and figure four leglocks. The folks at Closed Casket Activities are no strangers to that undeniable truth, as a number of their artists directly contribute their talents to the most metal group in All Elite Wrestling — the House of Black.
To that end, the record label is releasing a limited edition 12″ vinyl featuring the various entrance themes of the House of Black and its members: Brody King, Malakai Black, Buddy Mathews, and Julia Hart. If you’ve ever seen their entrance, it’s pretty fucking metal.
Set as a timed release with a special “electric blue with glitter” color way, this release will only be available for preorder until Monday, November 27 at 8 p.m. EST. After that, Closed Casket Activities will only print exactly as many copies as ordered. In addition to the special color variant, the compilation will come packaged in a gatefold jacket with UV spot varnish and embossing. Translation: it’s gonna look sick.
For House of Black member Brody King, the music is a major part of his whole schtick since he’s not just a pro-wrestler, but he’s also the vocalist for Closed Casket Activities band God’s Hate. Naturally, his entrance is done to his band’s song “Be Harder.”
As for the rest of the House of Black, Buddy Matthews uses “Eyes Adjust” by Twitching Tongues, the tag-team Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King) use “Kings of the Black Throne” by Colin Young, Julia Hart makes her way to the ring with “Harder Hart” by Colin Young featuring Emma Boster of Dying Wish, and the group itself enters to “Dead Body” by Deadbody.
And while each song is used to hype up each wrestler as they walk to the ring, the compilation is still a solid and heavy release even if you don’t follow AEW.
