A Stage-Used Black Sabbath Drum Set is Among the Rare Music Items Currently Up for Auction

0

A pile or extremely rare music memorabilia is up for grabs in a newly announced auction and if you’ve got the cash, you can own a piece of history. Organized and run by Goldin Co., the auction has signed guitars, factory sealed CDs and cassettes, signed album covers, and a nearly 30-piece drum kit from Black Sabbath.

All of that’s currently up for sale in the January Pop Culture Elite Auction, which is running from now until February 17. Though the entire lot has things like super rare Pokemon cards and even rarer graded comic books, it’s also got some crazy interesting rock and roll memorabilia. We’re talkin’ a signed and stage-played axe bass from Gene Simmons and an Epiphone electric guitar signed by Guns N’ Roses’ Slash, just to name a couple.

Perhaps the biggest item on hand, however, is the stage-played Black Sabbath drum kit. Now to be clear, this drum set wasn’t played by Bill Ward, but rather the session drummer that played during the band’s 2012-2014 reunion tour named Tommy Clufetos. But let’s be real — this thing shared a stage with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler.

The entire kit contains the following:

  • Two 24″ Bass drums
  • One 14″ snare stand-mounted rack tom
  • One 16″ floor tomdddd
  • One 18″ floor tom
  • 6 1/2×14 matching snare drum
  • 15″ concert tom
  • 16″ concert tom
  • TEN (10) 6″ custom-made DW “rata” toms
  • Meinl Cymbals
  • Three 19″ mb20 crashes
  • One 22″ Heavy Ride
  • Two 19″ China cymbals
  • 15″ heavy hi-hats
  • All DW 9000 series heavy-duty hardware

As of right now, the kit has zero bids on it but is set to $2,500. You’ve got 15 days to get your bid in and potentially win this damn thing, so be sure to check out the full lot to see what you’d like to get your mitts on.
