Sleep Token Have Entered a “New Era” with RCA Records Deal

0

The internet’s favorite band to needlessly get up in arms about just celebrated a major career milestone, as Sleep Token announced yesterday that they’ve signed with massive record label RCA Records. They’re calling this their “new era” as they bring their unique blend of metal to the mainstream masses.

Looking at their label’s current roster of artists, it sure seems like Sleep Token are the only metal (or metal adjacent if you’re a metal elitist) act they’ve got on their roster. As it stands, the band is now labelmates with the likes of Britney Spears, A$AP Rocky, Doja Cat, and many other mainstream stars.

For those somehow not familiar with Sleep Token, the band regularly mixes progressive metal with alternative, post-rock, and R&B. They went crazy viral on TikTok and other social media platforms last year with their song “The Summoning,” from their latest album Take Me Back To Eden.

Sleep Token’s gained so much popularity that their shows have sold out in record time and they continue to be one of the hottest tickets out there right now. Their upcoming run of live shows, dubbed ‘The Teeth Of God Tour,’ saw some presale issues not too long ago, but that still hasn’t deterred fans from grabbing tickets en masse.
