Leprous Wants Fans to Lend Their Voices to Their New Album

0

With Norwegian progressive rock/metal outfit Leprous working on a new record, they’re looking for fans to lend their voice to the project and create a fan choir they plan to include on the album.

This record will be the follow-up to their 2021 album Aphelion. In addition to the choir, one fan will be chosen for a three-hour vocal lesson with Leprous vocalist Einar Solberg.

On social media, the band say:

“Do you want to be a part of the next Leprous album? We’re making a small fan choir in one of the songs! Send us a DM with a video of you singing something. Just a recording on the phone, nothing fancy.

“We’ll choose a handful of people, and then you can record at home or somewhere else where you have a condenser microphone at your disposal. No introduction needed, just send a video. Of those we choose, we’ll pick a winner who will get 3 free hour long vocal lessons with @einar_solberg! Deadline to send the video is in 48 hours.”

In addition to this upcoming album, last month, Leprous released a piano and vocals version of their famous album The Congregation as a solo effort from Solberg. The album, The Congregation Acoustic, came out February 16. It’s streaming now, giving fans a taste of the signature Leprous creativity before this next release.

It’s exciting that the band are working on another full-length soon, and we can’t wait to hear what they come up with from fan submissions.

Leprous are also currently on tour in Europe. If you’d like to catch them live, be sure to check out one of the dates below.
