It was just the other day that legendary Tool/Puscifer/A Perfect Circle vocalist Maynard James Keenan turned the ripe age of 60. Dude’s been around for a while but he’s still kicking ass training with Mike Tyson, earning black belts, and performing killer music, so why not celebrate all those years with a long ass tour with your friends?
That’s exactly what the three-headed monster known as the ‘Sessanta Tour’ has been, as it features both Puscifer and A Perfect Circle, along with his good friends in Primus along for the ride. And while most tours would have distinct sets for each band, that’s not the case here, no no no. All three bands are on stage at the same time over the course of their sets, which makes for some super unique performances.
One of those performances took place last night in San Diego, California at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. Attendees got to witness some wild shenanigans all in the name of our recent birthday boy. Thankfully, we got photographer Derek Tobias out there to document the show. As you can see from the gallery below, it was a spectacle, to say the least.
