Disturbed is Down with Nostalgia After Announcing 25th Anniversary The Sickness Tour

0

Where were you when you first heard David Draiman belt out “ooh ah ah ah ah” on Disturbed‘s “Down With The Sickness” back in 2000? For me, it was early high school and ever since then, this band has been playing huge arenas and growing in popularity as times goes on.

Earlier today, Disturbed announced that they were going to mark the special occasion of The Sickness‘ 25th anniversary by going on tour throughout North America. Set to kick off on February 25 in Nampa, Idaho and coming to a close on May 17 in Las Vegas, the tour will see the band make 36 different stops along the way. At each stop, the band will perform two full sets, with the first being the entirety of The Sickness while the other will be a smattering of the band’s greatest hits.

Coming along for the ride for the first half of the tour will be Three Days Grace featuring their original singer Adam Gontier and Sevendust. For the second half of the tour, Daughtry and Nothing More will open.

Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, with various pre-sales set to start next Tuesday. You can find more informaton on how to register for the presale right now. The full list of tour dates is below, with Europe and U.K. dates coming later.
