¡Cero Miedo!

Over the last couple of months, one of the coolest additions to WWE‘s insane roster of wrestlers was masked Mexican wrestler, Penta. Known in other promotions as Pentagon Dark, Pentagón Jr., Penta Oscuro, Penta El Cero Miedo… the list goes on… he’s regarded around the world as a top luchador because of his insane looks and his even crazier high flying style in the ring.

Now, one of the coolest aspects about the guy is his entrance. From his debut with the WWE, he’s had one of the most exciting entrances on the main roster. The music kicks ass, the visuals kick ass, just everything works. Well, now the entrance got even better, as it was revealed last night that not only had his entrance music been reworked, but it features some guitar work from Tool’s Adam Jones.

As you can see in the clip below, that shit is epic. Dude just looks like he’s ready to do some crazy shit and he hasn’t even stepped in the ring yet. Helps that the music kicks ass. During his entrance, commentator Michael Cole told viewers about the newly revamped music.

“You’re hearing a new version of Penta’s theme featuring one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Adam Jones from Grammy award-winning band Tool, using a specific playing technique that has been heard since the early ’90s and around the globe.”

Calling Jones “one of the greatest guitarist of all time” may be a stretch for some, but there’s no denying he’s absolutely among the top of his contemporaries, for sure. It’s great to see wrestlers getting to use actual musicians in their entrance music, from Rhea Ripley’s music featuring Motionless In White to Damian Priest’s entrance theme featuring Kerry King himself. After all, who knows if these songs and wrestlers get new fans into metal, too.

At this time, the track “The Fire Is Coming” isn’t available on streaming services, but you can check it out in the video below.
