Turnstile to Debut 14-Song Visual Album ‘Turnstile: Never Enough’ at Tribeca Film Festival
Usually, when a band has something to premiere, they tend to go through traditional avenues. Publications like Rolling Stone, Billboard, or Pitchfork get first crack and then the rest of us plebs out in the internet get a go at the new thing. For Maryland hardcore band Turnstile, their next new thing will make its debut at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
The thing in question, Turnstile: Never Enough, is a 14-song visual album directed by the band’s vocalist Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory. According to the band, this release is “a stirring counterpart” to the band’s forthcoming EP Never Enough, due out on June 6.
As you can see in the trailer below, the whole thing has a very striking visual style. Coupled with the band’s sound, it could be an interesting piece of art.
As for when the average fan can catch the visual album for themselves, the band announced that dates and ticketing information for local screenings will be released in the coming days.
