Wolves At The Gate Release “Death Clock” Video
A couple weeks out from the release of Christian metalcore outfit Wolves At The Gate‘s forthcoming album Wasteland and they’ve dropped another single and accompanying music video. Now, I know what you’re thinking — “Christian metalcore? Lame.”
Yet if you give them a chance, you might enjoy them? I dunno. The video looks like it cost a lot, so it might be worth sharing? According to the band, the track is “a moody rage, loaded with arena-sized hooks that keep pace throughout the entirety of the song.” If you want to hear the song in question, you’re gonna have to skip to about 6:55, as everything before that is more of the story they’ve been weaving with their previous videos.
According to the band, the song is about how the concept of death is always in the back of our minds.
“‘Death Clock’ describes the world inside of your head. Everyone undoubtedly thinks about death. The song is just being honest when it comes to the fact we all die and how it makes us feel. We wanted it to sound like you’re racing against a clock.”
Wasteland comes out on May 30 via Solid State Records, but you can pre-order your copy today.
