Born of Osiris Announce New Album ‘Through Shadows’, Title Track Streaming Now
Progressive metalcore outfit Born of Osiris are back with a new album coming out later this summer titled Through Shadows. And while it’s boasting 13 new tracks, it’s very likely that if you’ve already heard a handful of the songs before if you’ve been following the Chicago-based band.
Set to release on July 11 via Sumerian Records, Beyond Shadows features some of the standalone singles that went live in recent months. I’m talking tracks like “Elevate”, “In Desolation”, and “A Mind Short Circuiting”. Still, with today’s announcement the band released the album’s title track “Through Shadows” to give fans yet another taste before its final release.
Speaking of the title track, the band said it’s a call for fans to look for hope even when it seems like it doesn’t exist.
“‘Through Shadows’ is a reflection of the human experience—both the quiet struggles and the heavy storms we each endure. It’s about confronting the darkness with the understanding that without shadow, there is no light to shine through. When all feels lost, we’re left with a choice: face demise, or defend our existence. This song is our call to choose the light, even in our darkest moments.”
