Vader To Release Reissue of 2000 ‘Litany’ Album on Vinyl

0

Wake up, hunny. Polish death metal legends Vader are releasing a special edition vinyl of their fourth studio album Litany in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Included in this new version is a a brand-new, revised take on the legendary 2000 full-length on vinyl. You know — the thing that was a thing before streaming services were a thing?

Vader has collaborated with Wojtek Wieslawski (Hertz Recording Studio) for the remastered vinyl. Additionally, the LP features a 16-page booklet made up of liner notes by Vader frontman/guitarist Piotr (Peter) Wiwczarek.

Speaking about the album reissue, Wiwczarek said:

Litany was definitely our fastest and most brutal album ever recorded…This year the album celebrates its quarter-century, and we want to remind you of the power of these brutal riffs. The album returns to the stages in full form. Many of the songs haven’t been played since the 2000-2001 promotional tour. Some of them have never been played. I invite you to the world of Litany! Remember… you enter here at your own risk!”

The Litany 25th anniversary vinyl edition will be available from June 6 via Metal Blade Records in various options, including the following:

  • 180g Black Vinyl LP (Unlimited)
  • Clear Violet Marbled Vinyl LP (Unlimited)
  • Clear Gold Splatter Vinyl LP (Ltd. 500)
  • Blue Black Splatter Vinyl LP (Ltd. 200, Band Edition)
  • Golden Brown Marbled Vinyl LP (Ltd. 400, US)
