Ice Nine Kills Promise One ‘Hell Of A Summer’ with U.S. Headlining Tour
With the summer just around the corner, U.S. metalheads have an abundance of options when it comes to upcoming concerts and where they spend their hard-earned cash. This morning, massively successful Massachusetts-based band Ice Nine Kills announced a headlining U.S. tour that’ll be sure to be insanely popular.
Set to kick off on August 10 in Waukee, Iowa and coming to a close on September 13 in Worcester, Massachusetts for Silver Scream Con, the ‘Hell Of A Summer’ tour will see the run of dates hit 19 venues before it’s done. Throughout its run, the show will include supporting acts Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, The Funeral Portrait, Mest, and A Loss For Words, though exactly who will be at which date depends on the supporting acts’ availability. Speaking of the tour itself, Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas expressed a whole lot of enthusiasm for what’s in store for future ticketholders.
“The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR will be a celebration of all things INK — past, present, and future.
“It’s an eclectic bill, and having MEST on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me. As many Psychos will remember, I formed the band after seeing Goldfinger and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago.
“The date is so important to me that I have it tattooed behind my ear.
“The tour culminates in a sure-to-be historic performance at the DCU Center, where I experienced some of my first arena shows as a kid, including the Family Values Tour with our current tourmates, Limp Bizkit, and home of the Silver Scream Con.
“The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR’s last stop, at the Silver Scream Con, will also feature some New England punk rock royalty as a very special guest.”
Tickets will be on artist pre-sale to Ice Nine Kills fans using the ‘Psychos Only’ app starting at 11 a.m. ET today, with additional pre-sales taking place throughout the week. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this May at 10 a.m. local time.
