Sylosis Drop Video for “Soured Ground”, Announce Limited Vinyl Run of ‘The Path’ EP
Last October, Sylosis released their latest EP The Path. Packed with five new tracks, it was one of the last things they did with their guitarist Alex Bailey before he bailey-d from the group. Now roughly eight months later, the band is releasing a limited vinyl run of the EP and dropped a music video for the track “Soured Ground” to commemorate it.
The band sounded off on their announcement today, describing exactly what the limited vinyl run will entail and why a video was made for the aforementioned track.
“Following the success of The Path, it was clear that we had to immortalise these songs on some form of physical media. We knew the songs were strong, but did not expect them to connect with people the way that have. In light of this, we have a very limited pressing of the EP in coke bottle green with custom etching. The finished product is stunning and we can’t wait to share it with you.
“To further celebrate the release, we shot a new video for the song “Soured Ground”. This was the obvious choice for the video after seeing all the fan feedback. We have a limited number of signed vinyl available on our webstore and on tour in Europe this month. Be sure to grab yourself a copy, and we’ll see you on the road.”
The special edition vinyl of The Path is currently available online, though as mentioned before, it’s a limited run. So you’ll want to get yours as soon as you can.
As they mentioned, Sylosis have 10 tour dates coming up later this month across Europe, with a majority of those stops being festival appearances. You can find the list of dates below.
