Sol Invicto Unleashes Industrial Techno Single “Initium” Featuring Zach Hill
Sol Invicto, aka a supergroup of members from bands such as Deftones, Cypress Hill, and Sikth, are back with another cutting-edge release. Don’t you just love it when bands take on side projects? Especially ones that sound nothing like the bands they’re already famous for.
Today, Sol Invicto has collaborated with Zach Hill for a hard techno release titled “Initium”. It was produced, composed, and mixed by Richie Londres, who founded Sol Invicto.
Speaking about the song’s meaning, Londres comments:
“Jack’s mother’s testimony meant more to me than any Grammy or award ever could. In a cold and heartless industry that exploits and controls creativity, her message gave me a reason to carry on. As a non-conformist who has always rejected mainstream pressures, I realized I wasn’t making music for myself but for a higher calling—to create art that connects, heals, and transforms lives. This release of Initium is dedicated to Jack’s memory and his family, honoring the miraculous connection we shared and the purpose they inspired in my work.”
Sonically, “Initium” is a liquid drum and bass, industrial techno song that takes listeners on an exhilarating and hallucinogenic journey. But on a more personal level, this track holds great weight and depth to it.
