High Desert Queen to Kick Off European Tour Tomorrow
It’s interesting what passes for an European festival these days, but I guess as long as you’re in Germany and/or Amsterdam, you can call your tour whatever you want. That’s the case for High Desert Queen, whose “European” tour will kick off tomorrow evening.
Set to launch tomorrow in Neuensee, Germany, the Texan stoner metal band will mostly stay within Deutschland as it plays 18 different locations, with just one stop in Amsterdam. The whole thing will come to an end on August 16 when they play Reload Festival in Sulingen, Germany.
Vocalist Ryan Garney could hardly contain his excitement at the prospect of kickin ass in Europe.
“We can hardly wait to get back on the road, see lots of friends and family, and make some new fans move their heads. There will be plenty of free hugs and heavy riffs to be had this summer in Europe!”
All of this is in support of their most recent record Palm Reader, which was released on May 31 via Magnetic Eye Records. To mark their return across the pond, they dropped the music video for their track “Time Waster”.
