Nailed To Obscurity Drop “Generation of the Void” Music Video
German melodic doom/death metal outfit Nailed To Obscurity have returned with a new single and music video and this time, it’s the title track off their forthcoming album Generation Of The Void.
With the new album coming out in September, the band’s working to get fans hyped for the new release with killer visuals and an epic sounding track. And well, here it is, according to the band.
“‘Generation Of The Void’ is a mirror held up to a world that feels increasingly disconnected. We tried to capture the overwhelming sense of unease that defines our time, but also the inner battles we all face. It’s a song that grew out of chaos, but from a desire to understand and endure.”
Said to reflect our post-pandemic reality, the band has gone on to suggest that Generation of the Void is their “most mature and expansive album to date.” It’s rife with social and political commentary in a time of rising fascist tendencies, the threat of war with Russia, and even more turmoil going on right now.
