Deicide, Old Man’s Child, and More Among the First Bands Named for Inferno Metal Festival
Next Easter weekend in Norway is going to be super fuckin’ dark for a lotta people next year. Organizers behind next year’s Inferno Metal Festival just named the first batch of bands on the bill and holy shit, man. It’s already shaping up to be a killer gathering of metalheads.
Taking place from April 2 to April 5 across multiple venues in Oslo, the Inferno Metal Festival has always been a bastion of extreme metal music. So it’s no surprise that the following bands were the first to be revealed as part of next year’s event:
- Deicide
- Old Man’s Child
- The Kovenant
- Kanonenfieber
- Incantation
- Whoredom Rife
- Darvaza
- Perchta
- Myr
Great googly moogly, tell me that’s not a killer lineup already. Over the next few months, even more bands will be added to the festival’s billing. At that point, it’ll be anyone’s guess what kind of extreme metal goodness will land on the list. With an annual average of roughly 70 shows per year at Inferno Fest, there’s sure to be an act or band or something that’ll meet your interests.
As of right now, tickets are on already on sale over at Ticketmaster, so be sure to pick up ticket(s) for you and those coming with you, schedule a flight, get stoked for what will surely be a killer weekend.
