Members of Sepultura, Korn, Fear Factory and Cypress Hill Might Start New Supergroup

0

Well, well, well. It looks as though we may have another supergroup on the horizon, and it seems like it’ll be a good one if it does happen. There was once a Korn bassist named Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and now he’s joining Sepultura drummer Greyson Nekrutman, and former Fear Factory bassist and guitarist Christian Olde Wolbers.

What about Cypress Hill, you say? If you read between the lines—specifically, the ones written by Wolbers—then it looks like . Wolber’s commented on a post made by Cypress Hill’s B-Real, saying: “@breal we got 2 in the can.” By this, it’s possible he’s referencing the history they have together when it comes to work—Wolbers has filled in as Cypress Hill’s bassist from time to time but the two also teamed up for a now deserted 2000s rap-rock band called Kush. At the time, the project also featured Deftones’ Stephen Carpenter and former founding member of Fear Factory Raymond Herrera. So, if that’s the “2 in the can,” then this alleged project would be the third. This all makes sense, also considering how Wolbers is still in Powerful, the rap-metal group that also features Cypress Hill’s Sen Dog.

Is it real, or are we dreaming? Who knows yet, but as of right now, it’s a lore I can get behind.
