Looks Like That Poppy, Amy Lee, and Courtney LaPlante Collab is Titled “End Of You”
Two days after posting a photo of all three of them together, we now know a little more about the apparent collaboration featuring Evanescence‘s Amy Lee, Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy. And yeah, it’s looking like it’s going to be a new track titled “End of You”.
We only know that much because each artist involved posted a new teaser video predominantly focusing on themselves on their respective Instagram profiles with the caption “End of You” in each post. The video has an ethereal synth loop playing along until you hear Amy Lee sing the lyrics “‘Cause the end of you is the start of me.”
Perhaps an intriguing wrinkle in all this is the fact that ex-Bring Me the Horizon keyboardist turned music producer Jordan Fish has been seen commenting on the posts, which has lead some to believe he’s involved somehow. Given the fact that he’s already worked with Poppy on Negative Spaces, it would make sense that he’s got his hands on this collab track too.
At this time, that’s all we know. We have no release date, nor do we know if this is part of a larger project or just a one-off track release. I’m almost willing to bet we’ll find out all about it over the weekend. Until we know more, you can check out the individual teaser posts below. Maybe there are some hints in the videos that I missed.
