Mr. Bungle Hope to Perform with Avenged Sevenfold When Their Latin American Tour is Rescheduled

0

Over the weekend, Latin American fans of Avenged Sevenfold were dealt a rough blow as it was announced the shows would be delayed as vocalist M. Shadows deals with a vocal injury. Bummer. And while fans were left disappointed, everyone else that was going to work that festival were also left without a plan.

One group of folks looking to ensure their ticket is pulled for the rescheduled dates is none other than Mr. Bungle. Originally scheduled to partcipagte in the now pushed back tour, the Mike Patton-fronted avant-garde thrash band made their plea to return to the A7X touring schedule early next year.

“Hey friends,

“As many of you may have heard, our friends Avenged Sevenfold have had to postpone their tour due to health issues. We were scheduled to join them on several dates across Latin America, and unfortunately, this means we must also cancel our September/October shows in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.

“We’re truly sorry to everyone who bought tickets and made plans to spend time with us. Our South American fans have always shown us so much love, and it hurts not to be there with you right now.

“We are already working with Avenged to try and reschedule these shows, and we promise to be back as soon as possible with something special just for you.”

We will see what happens next. Given how much Mike Patton/Bungle love A7X’s latest album Life Is But A Dream was basically a love letter to Patton and his projects, I’d be shocked if they weren’t brought back.
