Inmates That Removed Human Sh*tstain Ian Watkins From the World Identified by Authorities

Over the weekend, the world was elated to learn that a horrific piece of sentient human filth once known as Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins was murdered while serving time in jail. It only took 13 years into the 29-year-sentence he earned for committing multiple heinous sex acts against multiple children, but in the end he was stabbed in the neck and pronounced dead at the scene. One hopes it was at least excruciatingly painful.

At the time, officials at HMP Wakefield only gave the ages of Watkins’ alleged assailants. Now, just a couple days after the attack, we know who they are — Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43. Both are obviously inmates at the British high security prison. According to The Sun, the pair ambushed Watkins shortly after inmates were released from their cells, slashing his throat and severing his jugular, resulting in catastrophic blood loss. Both Gedel and Dodsworth were charged for Watkins’ murder.

One eyewitness told The Sun that the scene immediately following the attack was pandemonium, as guards attempted to get a handle of the situation:

“It was a horrific scene, with blood everywhere and alarms and sirens going off. Police and ambulances were called and the whole prison was locked down with all cons confined to their cells.”

In the wake of his death, Watkins’ ex-girlfriend Joanne Mjadzelics, who’d tried to warn authorities of the singer’s horrific sexual proclivities, told the Daily Mail that she had a feeling Watkins would meet such an end, though like the rest of us, she was surprised he lasted as long as he did in custody.

“This is a big shock, but I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. I was always waiting for this phone call. He was walking around with a target on his back from the first day he entered the prison.

“I wanted him dead for a long time after everything he did. I am relieved. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my head… This is the second time someone has slashed his throat. I expected it to have happened earlier. He’s been in there for almost 13 years.”

Last weekend’s fatal attack wasn’t the only time he’d seen the edge of a blade while serving time in prison. Back in 2023, he survived an attack where he was taken hostage by three inmates for six hours in the same prison. There, he’d suffered (sadly) non-life theatening injuries before police intervened.

Here’s hoping that wherever that fuckface ended up once he shuffled off this mortal coil, that the punishment is eternal, painful, and commensurate to the Hell he caused in the children he abused. Rest in piss, shitbag.
