Tenebro Bring Italian Death Metal to the Fore with “Impiccata”

0

With an unrelenting attack from the moment you hit play, complete with a woman screaming her head off, Tenebro’s latest single “Impiccata” isn’t the kind of music you’d want to listen to in good company. No, this is for you blood-thirsty sickos out there that love your death metal covered in gore and grinning from ear to ear.

As the latest single off their forthcoming album “Una Lama D’Argento,” this new track is just brutality for brutality’s sake. You can practically smell the iron in the air, if you catch my drift. Which in all honesty makes sense when you realize that it’s based on the hanging scene from the movie Suspiria.

“The first single, ‘Impiccata’, strikes with relentless intensity: a fast, uncompromising track that mirrors the shocking imagery of Dario Argento’s Suspiria. Inspired by the infamous hanging scene, the song channels the sense of sudden, inescapable terror that erupts without warning. With its direct, no-frills approach, ‘Impiccata’ captures the essence of Tenebro’s sound: sharp, immediate, and merciless, like a blade cutting through silence”.

In fact, the whole album is based on Argento’s works, with each track dealing with a gross and macabre scene from one of his films. Death metal and horror. Who’da thunk it?

You can check out the new track below. If this is your jam, you can preorder your copy of Una Lama D’Argento today.
