Avenged Sevenfold Share “Some Kinda Hate” for Their Annual Misfits Cover
It’s almost Halloween-time, so you know what that means. Pumpkins. Bad costumes. And Avenged Sevenfold covering a Misfits song for funsies. This time around, they’ve opted for a song that only showed up on the Misfits’ 1985 compilation record Legacy Of Brutality titled “Some Kinda Hate”.
Ever since 2021 when the band released “Hybrid Moments”, Avenged Sevenfold has tried their hands at covering Misfits tracks. They then followed up in 2022 with “Last Caress”, 2023 saw them do “Astro Zombies”, and 2024 saw their rendition of “Skulls” make the rounds. Each track featured Zacky Vengeance on guitar and vocals, Johnny Christ on bass, and Brooks Wackerman on drums and has become a sort of Halloween tradition.
“In keeping with the spirit of the season, this year’s offering of ‘Some Kinda Hate’ is available to all. Enjoy?”
So gather around the Quija board, grab yourself some bite sized candy, and crank this one up. It’s your duty for Halloween.
